The 30th Annual Conference of the National Turbine Metal Cutting Network was successfully held in Deyang, and Bai Jiang was honored to be invited to attend this grand event!

On October 20-21, 2024, the 30th Annual Meeting of the National Steam Turbine Metal Cutting and Process Technology Network was held in Deyang. Approximately 180 representatives from main manufacturers, parts suppliers, tooling and machine tool suppliers, and professional media outlets across the national steam turbine industry attended the event.

The conference specially invited Mr. Zhang Youzhen, who is 90 years old, to attend. As one of the initiators of the network, Mr. Zhang vividly recalled the original intention of establishing the network and affirmed its contributions to improving the industry's processing technology level.

Against the backdrop of the rapid development of Industry 4.0 and information networks, the turbine industry is also undergoing digital transformation and upgrading. The focus of this year's conference was on the application of smart manufacturing in the turbine industry. Wu Tianming, Chairman of the Turbine Industry Metal Cutting Technology Liaison Network, provided an overview of the production and technological development status of various turbine manufacturers across sectors such as coal-fired power, gas-fired power, nuclear power, industrial applications, new energy storage systems, and turbine unit upgrades.

During the Q&A session at the conference, a summary was first provided on the issues raised at the previous conference and the progress made in their implementation. Subsequently, participants discussed the machining challenges and solutions collected for this conference.

The machining challenges discussed at the meeting fall within the scope of solutions provided by our company's products. The chip-breaking drill chuck developed by our company effectively addresses chip removal and chip entanglement issues during machining. The resulting chips are in granular form, and iron chips do not adhere to the chuck, thereby enhancing production efficiency, improving hole precision, and extending drill bit lifespan.

Mr. Tian Dongwang, founder of Bai Jiang Precision Tools, also introduced the company's chip-breaking tool holders at this conference, highlighting the product's advantages and performance, as well as its significance in manufacturing processes. We believe this product holds significant potential for enhancing the production efficiency of turbine components, and Bai Jiang will continue to refine its products to better address chip entanglement and chip removal challenges in manufacturing, thereby significantly improving the production efficiency of turbine component processing.
