Traditional processing: Copper oil passage hole processing is a typical deep hole processing operation. When using traditional tool holders, due to the soft nature of copper, chips tend to wrap around the tool, causing the tool shank to bend, severely affecting processing quality and tool life. To mitigate chip buildup issues, both spindle speed and feed rate are set relatively low during processing, resulting in prolonged processing times that fail to meet customer efficiency requirements.

Bai Jiang Machining Solution: Using a chip-breaking tool holder, under a low-frequency vibration mechanism, the tool holder can break chips three times per rotation. The chips form fan-shaped particles, making them easy to remove and effectively preventing issues caused by chip entanglement. The chip-breaking effect is controllable, with parameters set to S3950 F48, doubling the feed rate and significantly improving machining efficiency. There is no need to grind chip-breaking grooves, saving time and labor costs, and avoiding issues caused by improper grinding that could affect machining results.
