Process: Internal hexagonal hole machining for nuts
Traditional processing challenges: Typically, punches or milling cutters are used for machining. The former, hexagonal punches, are prone to wear and require frequent replacement, and they produce significant burrs, necessitating additional deburring processes; the latter, milling cutters, leave residual tool radius R in the machined internal hexagonal holes and require longer processing times.
Bai Jiang Processing Solution: When machining internal hexagons with a polygonal boring tool holder, the process follows a predetermined trajectory, effectively reducing processing time. Processing accuracy can reach 0.02mm, with the smallest tool radius R being 0.2mm. The tool holder is also equipped with a directional ring and a micro-adjustment unit, allowing for adjustment of the shape's direction and dimensions.
